I'm Kelly, a student at the University of Washington pursuing a degree in Informatics with a concentration in Human Computer Interaction.
My interest in product design stems from a passion of using art, design, and technology to solve problems for others.
My journey into design began at a young age.
From launching
an online
clothing store and
to
for
business owners,
I have
continuously
pursued
opportunities to
develop my
skill and
contribute
meaningfully
to various
initiatives.
My involvement
with a
dedicated to
social change
has also
taught me
design’s
potential
in
inspiring
positive action.
As I continue my design journey, I'm still actively seeking new opportunities to make meaningful impact. If you're interested in working together, I'd love to connect and discuss how we can create something extraordinary together.
💖 Compassion
My design process is rooted in empathy, driven by a care to understand those I design for. My goal is to create solutions that resonate with others.
🏆 Proactivity
I take initiative, set ambitious goals, and pursue them with determination. This mindset fuels my drive to overcome obstacles and consistently deliver impactful results.
🤝 Collaboration
I believe that powerful designs emerge from collaboration. By fostering an inclusive environment, we can explore new possibilities that we might not have discovered individually.
🧶 Crocheting and rug making
I've dabbled in tapestry crochet, punch needling, and amigurumi. I love gifting my friends something uniquely for them.
🎧 Listening to true crime
I enjoy listening to true crime podcasts while I work. My favorite podcast is Rotten Mangos by Stephanie Soo.
🎨 Drawing cute illustrations
I'm a freelance illustrator on the side. One of my goals is to open a shop and sell stickers, keychains, and prints of my art :)
🏸 Playing badminton
I'm not an athletic person, but badminton is one physical activity I enjoy! So far, I have competed in five tournaments.
💅 Painting my nails holographic
Thanks to HoloTaco, I have discovered the wondrous world of special effects nail polish. No more crèmes for me anymore!
👗 Shopping second-hand
I love to experiment with my personal style and thrifting is an affordable way to do so. Half my closet is second-hand now!
